Snoop Dogg Autobiography Mock Book Cover
This piece was created for my Book Covers course in college. We were tasked with creating a book cover for anything we chose.
Of course, I chose to do a Snoop Dogg Autobiography seeing as I was, (and still am) fascinated with 90’s hip hop and the history surrounding it’s roots.
I wanted to incorporate Snoop’s well known humor, marijuana usage, without ignoring his legendary status in hip hop through the portrait style imagery. I also paid homage to his iconic dog character from the 1993 “Who am I? What’s my name” Snoop Dogg Music Video.
