Published Illustrations in Connecticut Magazine “Connectic*nt Mag” Februrary Edition 2022. 

The prompt was Valentine’s Day so for these pieces, I tried to think of different takes on Valentine’s Day due to the magazine publication being rather alternative. I focused on the trope of lonliness of Valentine’s Day. Each one embodies lonliness in a different way.

The only one that is not within this theme is the Valentines with the saying of “Boys will be Boys” and “Girls just want to have fun.” For this piece I just wanted to make an alternative meaning to the classic sayings and relate them to Valentine’s Day and romance.
